Meet the Artist

I started this particular line of jewelry out of need for more “Man Jewelry” . I was talking to my friends and frequenting art galleries and jewelry stores and saw a real need for something out of the ordinary, something bold, strong, something with flair. Not necessarily flamboyant but creative and rugged. Simple, stylish and unique. I wanted something men can wear to work and play. Something you could wear where ever you go. Working cattle or fixing motorcycles and leave it on go to the nicest restaurant in town. I think I captured that here. You can wear it to the office and sign a million dollar deal, on a fishing trip, scuba diving, you can wear it in the shower were it to bed. My work responds better to heavy use. This of course develops the patina, the lived in feel and look.

Naturally, I have many designs geared primarily to woman as well. I focus on elegance, beauty and strength (characteristics of all great women) with an emphases on texture and detail. They can be worn individually or paired in any number or style. Multiples of two or more creates the “Chinkle” sound. A favorite for me and everyone with multiple. I strongly recommend wearing them in groups of two or more. Its part of the feel. My work has a nice weight and depth. It’s grounding, anchoring if you will. I use mostly sterling silver for the fact that it holds a patina but many of the pieces in my line are made with what’s called fine silver .999 pure. I use only 24k gold for this reason also. There’s nothing like it in richness and color, the specific gravity of pure gold is instantly noticeable as compared to alloys like 14k. Gold and silver have spiritual and metaphysical properties as well as scientific properties. Like the electrical conductivity of gold and the grounding, cleansing and healing properties of silver. I put allot of focus and good “intent” into the making of each piece. By wearing these pieces you can take in these properties, and consequently, they take on properties of the owner as well.

They are meant to be lived in….

I hope you enjoy my work and enjoyed viewing other pieces. I look forward to seeing them on you. It gives me such great pleasure to see them enjoyed, worn, and in use.
